My Approach to Newborn Sessions
I offer both in-home lifestyle sessions and studio Denver newborn photographer sessions depending on your comfort and vision. My style is natural, soft, and organic — no stiff poses or overly stylized props. Just your baby, your love, and the quiet magic of this new beginning.
Sessions are around an hour long, cozy, and baby-led. That means we follow your newborn’s cues — feeding breaks, diaper changes, snuggles. All welcomed and expected!
We’ll capture a beautiful blend of:
- Solo portraits of your baby (wrapped or unwrapped)
- Parent and baby connection
- Sibling love (if applicable)
- Detail shots — eyelashes, toes, lips, and all the little features
When to Book Your Denver Newborn Session
The ideal time to photograph your baby is within the first 7–14 days after birth, while they’re still super sleepy and snuggly. I recommend booking during your second or early third trimester to ensure space on my calendar. If this timeline doesn’t work there are tricks we can do to get those sleepy baby photos!
That said, if your baby has already arrived, don’t worry! We can still capture beautiful, soulful images at any stage of the newborn journey.
